A dear sweet lady came into my work today and she had made little magnets with a little American flag taped to them for all of us at work. She had hand written on little pieces of paper the names and dates of all the holidays that the American flag is to be flown. The really neat thing about this lady is that she is 88 years old. Her mind is amazingly sharp. How sweet to have her think of others. I think that I will have to keep this item for a very long time. God, her little old body is so worn. She could barely walk into the building. She had a cane and walked very slowly. I bet it was hard for her to see and write such small print for all of us.
God, thank you for such wonderful people that give of themselves to bring joy into other people's lives.
