Driving to Work This Morning and a THOUGHT came to me:

It was pretty serious too.

What the heck was it, now that I am trying to type about it?

I think it was something about love and cakes.

OH YEAH......

If someone tells you that they love you and the only place that they have seen you is online....

Facts:

1. They are full of crap! How can anyone "love you" when they have never even met you, spent time with you, smelled you, laughed with you, kissed you, EXPERIENCED you in REAL LIFE!

2. They obviously do NOT know what real love is if they are telling you that they love you online.
That is not REAL love.

3. You CAN love a person that you talk to online....the kind of love that a person has for mankind and animals, NOT the relationship type of love as this cannot be established online.

4. Cakes taste better with frosting, but the REAL ingredients that make up the cake (eggs, flour, sugar, baking soda/powder) are the TRUE makings of a cake, not the frosting. The same with "internet love". It's just frosting and fluffy words only. Don't get it confused with truth.

I think that is about all that I came up with. It only takes me about 15 minutes to drive to work so I don't have a lot of time to write bibles and stuff. I also thought about donkeys and potholes.

Have an AWESOME weekend and listen to some 80's pop rock today.....

A New Blog...Again...Daily Writing Prompts by T:)

I have started a new blog called "Daily Writing Prompts by T". All that I have to do is write one sentence a day. I think that I can keep up with that pace.

Coming up with a new idea each day shouldn't be too hard. I am finding that I tend to lean toward a dark and negative vibe when coming up with fresh ideas. I am not sure if I like that and I certainly did not realize that I would do that when coming up with a "fresh" idea.

Too much exposure to the internet and media I guess.

Anyway, it has been interesting thus far.

I can even type up one liners on my phone without too much trouble. I like the two handed typing best though. I have GOT to get away from the phone/online stuff and do more walking around in the woods or dark and use my imagination. Maybe I should hang out with my 7 year old nephew. He is FULL of wonderful ideas. He even messes with an ipad from time to time. How is imagination possible using an ipad??

Anyway, Daily Writing Prompts by T:) is on task for future flopdum or famedum.

Regardless of flop or fame, it is fun to do for now.

20,000 Steps

I have not been doing too much writing these days and I HATE it. The place that I work gave us FitBits as a gift and I have been obsessed with the dadgum daily number thingy......how many steps/how many flights of stairs/heart rate/sleep pattern/number of times I fart!! It's crazy. It got me thinking about what is important in life.

IS IT IMPORTANT TO KNOW THAT I TAKE OVER 20,000 STEPS A DAY?

I need a FitBit that keeps track of how many times I say "thank you" or "please" or "donate money for a good cause" or "do the RIGHT thing" or wash my car......something that is beneficial....I mean, MORE beneficial than the number of steps that I take a day.

I truly think that the most important things on earth for a person to do is invest their time in other people and in God. Does this FitBit fit in with this belief? It is OK to get in shape and compete with others. We need to take care of our bodies and our minds. But, a lot of what we do needs to be done to benefit other people and God. It is true what the bible says: To find life, you have to lose it. At 50 years of age, I am just NOW beginning to understand what that truly means, and it is TRUE! Life is so much better when we help other people and take our eyes off of ourselves. I am still a pretty selfish person and need a lot of culling of myself. It's terrible. But, it is getting better.

So, what is the answer to the question about 20,000 steps?

I guess it depends on what I am taking those steps for and who is benefitting from those 20,000 steps.
That is the REAL question.
