Cruelty IS a Part of Life, Especially When We Love the Lord

Dear God,

Just wanted to jot down this idea.

The closer that I become to You, the more cruelty I can tolerate from folks because of Love. (I'm NOT talking about physical abuse, although Jesus went through EXTREME physical abuse and then STILL asked You to forgive us.)

Does this make sense? If someone wronged me in the past, I had no problems saying "See Ya Later, Bub." and then I wouldn't give that person a second thought.

NOW, it is not that easy, especially if love is involved. It feels like a more Godly type of love now.....extremely unconditional. It is the kind of love that You give to us.

How strange and wonderfully peaceful it is....hmmmmm.....

Love,
Me:)

He (Jesus) was despised and rejected by mankind,
a man of suffering, and familiar with pain.
Like one from whom people hide their faces
he was despised, and we held him in low esteem.

Isaiah 53:3
