People Actually WROTE Without Electricity?

Dear God,
It is hard for me to imagine a life without electricity. I often think of the great writers and philosophers of old. These people wrote and thought in a world without electricity. No computers, no cell phones, no indoor plumbing, no refrigerators. They did not even have ice for their drinks?

When people were writing your words out, there weren't even pens or reams of paper laying around. I even take PENS for granted Lord. These people had to get creative to materialize ink and an instrument to dip it in to write down symbols on parchment so that ideas and revelations could be captured.

It was definitely a "different" type of living back then.

Thank you for pens and paper and electricity today.

Love,
Me:)

Of making many books there is no end, and much study wearies the body.
