Writin' a story about a dog named Skeeter.

Skeeter is a bloodhound/lab mix puppy.

The story...

...is so sweet.

Too sweet....

Must add some meanness to it for interest.

Not yet.

Later.

After the sweetness is almost too much to take....

Meanness will come.

There must be a villain or a really bad thing to happen to little old puppy Skeeter.

It is JUST a story.

Negative Nellies

It's been a lovely week.
I will be positive.
I will think GOOD thoughts.
I will NOT let the negative Nellies ruin my Happy Place.

(wait, that is negative....How do I tell negative Nellies to go away without being negative? If you tell someone to go away, is that negative?)

"Welcome you Negative Nellies. Would you like some cookies? How about telling me a little bit about yourself and where you are from? Do you like long walks on a beach and dinner by candlelight? You don't? Well, I think there is a marvelous place for you to visit at the house down the road. Would you like me to show you the way? I'd be perfectly happy to help you find that special place you are looking for since it is not in my vicinity"....... :0)

MY WORD!! It's Been A While..Do People Still BLOG?

Where the HECK did time go?

The last post was done in August of 2015. I am not even sure if people read these things or if anyone out there still BLOGS!! Do people Blog and do people read the BLOGS that are written by bloggers? There is so much out there in the virtual world now that keeps people reading and absorbing info. Is blogging a thing of the past? Will it dissolve like MySpace (remember MySpace....does it still exist?)

My computer broke MONTHS ago. Well, it is full of bugs, viruses, and such. I go to the library to type or work. Phones don't cut it when you are trying to type paragraphs and words of everlasting WIT to the world.

I looked at my stats from this site and there are a few hits (probably by mistake) from many countries. Thank you! Thank you very much you 16 people from other countries that accidentally stumbled onto my blog because you were looking for something else online. THANK YOU!

I write EVERY day. I am in the process of writing my 4th book. I read the four chapters that I have typed up this morning. It is an adult children's book. It is so cool. I read it and I can't believe that I wrote it. Some of the stuff is hilarious. Since only 16 people in the world read this blog, it really doesn't matter if I blow my own horn here. I think it is GOOD! I am gonna give it to my daughter to read. She is a voracious reader and will give me an honest daughter to mother factual opinion about it...hurt or no hurt....it will be truth according to her. I think she should be a writer. She would be 100 times better than I am, or is it "me"?

Anyway, life is good in Texas USA and Hello to the 16 people in other countries (especially Russia for some reason) that stumble onto this blog. There are voices that will listen and people who care out in this world. Just because a response isn't obtained through the internet does not mean that people don't care. Get out and find real live flesh and blood folks to hug on, talk to, and share things with because THAT is the REAL stuff.

A 100 Words a Day is Coming to This Blog in September

A 100 Words a Day will be coming here in September instead of having its own blog. I want to simplify things and it is easier to have one blog instead of 56 of them. I am still going to write in the other blog until September 1st. I have to at least write a 100 words a day....to stay a little bit alive.

Finally....Yonder Hearts Purpose is Revealed

I am excited to say that it has been revealed to me what Yonder Hearts it supposed to be about.

It is really cool.......and will take me on adventures that I never dreamed that I would make.

If I had known what this was supposed to be about when I first started this several years ago, I would have immediately shut it down and closed it out of my life. But, after going through a few things in life and developing a few tough spots and gaining grit through trials, errors, hurts, and tears, the real reason for Yonder Hearts has surfaced.

Pretty amazing how things like that work.
