Do not store up for yourself treasures on earth……store up treasures in heaven….where your treasure is, Matthew 6:19-21 |
The Cayenne Man
The Cayenne Man
Made from a can
Hanging from a wall
Got forks for his hands
Got a silly grin
Don’t have no chin
Pepper shaker top hat
Hottest of men
Two ounce honey
Might sound funny
Seems too small
He don’t cost much money
Put him in a sack
My homey’s on my back
I’ll hang him on my wall
Yeah, another knick knack!

Norman Rockwell
Therefore let us pursue the things which make for peace and the things by which one may edify another. Romans 14:19 Norman Rockwell (February 3, 1894 – November 8, 1978) I have always loved the paintings and drawings of Norman Rockwell. His work was and remains wholesome and inspiring to folks. I read that he was married 3 times. His first marriage ended in divorce. His second wife died of a heart attack. He was married to his third wife until he died in 1978. An interesting note: Mr. Rockwell underwent psychiatric treatment to which his analyst Erik Erikson, told the artist that he painted his happiness, but did not live it. It seems to me that very creative people give so much of themselves through their work, they often suffer from the loss with unhappiness and depression. How sad. I would like to thank Mr. Rockwell for his contribution to the world. T:) |

Alfred Hitchcock
....there is a God in heaven who reveals mysteries..... Daniel 2:28 Mr. Hitchcock (13 August 1899 – 29 April 1980) was known as the "Master of Suspense". I LOVE to watch his movies. I remember growing up and my mom telling me that in all of his movies he made cameo appearances. I watched them all to find where he was in each show. I can't pick a favorite movie, because there are so many that he did. Here are a few: Rear Window (1954) Thank you Mr. Hitchcock for your contribution to the world. T:) |

Joke'n Quote Friday♥Week #1
A police officer pulls over a driver and informs him that he has just won $5,000 in a safety competition, all because he is wearing his seat belt.
"What are you going to do with the prize money?" the officer asks.
The man responds, "I guess I'll go to driving school and get my license."
His wife says, "Officer, don't listen to him. He's a smart aleck when he's drunk."
The guy in the back seat pops up out from under the blanket and says, "I knew we wouldn't get far in this stolen car."
Just then a knock comes from the trunk and a voice calls out, "Are we over the border yet?"
Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen. Ephesians 4:29 |

Original Song/Poem♥Week #1
Violin or Fiddle?
Some call this thing a violin
And others say a fiddle
It’s not that they are different
Well, maybe just a little.
A violin is played sometimes
When opera singers sing
A fiddle player stomps his feet
When bluegrass music rings.
A violin is carried
On a crushed blue velvet bed
A country fiddle rides inside
A burlap bag instead.
But one thing to remember
And this one thing is grand
They both sound very beautiful
In gifted people’s hands.
May the gift YOU possess bless others todayJ
